KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

THE INCUMBENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Leading the process of consumer and customer insight generation in the Area.
Ensuring the integrity of insights and its integration in the decision making process.
The guardianship of all research systems, protocols and platforms
Ensuring the marketing insights and information platform (processes and systems) is fit-for- purpose to support informed decision making.
Management of research agencies and 3rd party service providers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5-8 years relevant FMCG experience.
Research methodologies, design and systems
Research agency management
Brand and trade marketing strategy development
Experience in people supervision (including coaching and team leadership skills)

EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in any business-related field

Reports to: Factory Chief Security Officer

Principal Accountabilities:
Maintain an appropriate record of access control activities / resources and report in a proper format to the Security Manager.
Coordinate all direct reports to ensure that all company assets and equipments issued out for use are carefully handled and recommend for repairs and or replacement as soon as they occur.
Ensure an accurate database of all contractors working with the company in Zaria is kept.
Coordinate Supervisors to ensure that all security procedures for the protection of:
Company personnel/families/visitors.
Tobacco products in respect of their manufacture, storage and despatch.
Company assets, information, property and business operations activities.
Ensure that a daily report of Zaria factory, in standard format, is submitted at every end of the shift to the CSO.
Ensure compliance with company access control procedures
Carry out all forms of periodic checks on all alarm systems and electronic equipment.
Maintain and update records of all equipment.
Maintain all records kept and advise the department on all issues of record management compliance.
Monitor the flow of escort request and arrange for timely drop off and pick up in line with agreed escort timings.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
A good first degree in any of the Social Sciences
Be a mature individual, with a broad experience in security/pool fleet operations.
Possess good communication skills in English, which he is able to exercise at all levels.
Be capable of gathering information from internal and external sources.
Ability to understand threats or potential threats to Company personnel and assets and possible checks to mitigate those threats.
Being capable of issuing clear written and verbal orders.
Have the ability to coordinate the activities of contracted guard force with a clear understanding of their hierarchy and operations.
Have a basic knowledge of the use of the computer in information storage and transfer.
Have a working knowledge of the operations of the Access control system.
Be capable of writing simple initial reports in respect of events or incidents.

To ensure that new products or material changes are effected with minimal write off and delivered OTIF. Develop an effective tracking of all planned changes or brand introductions. Maintain adequate relationship with WAA Commercial and other stakeholders to achieve perfect alignment on all planned changes. Provide up to date management information and reporting to enhance decision making and guide the right compromise.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* The ideal candiate should be a graduate with a bias in Science and at least 3 year experience gained in a supply chain planning manufacturing environment (Preferably FMCG Company).
* Working SAP System Knowledge – MM, PP & SD Modules
* Working Understanding of MRP/ERP principle.
* Understanding of Factory constraints and complexities
* Product Knowledge
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to change.
* Ability to make informed decisions
